First Step : Planning and Design

• Assessment of the farm: involves a paid site visit for us to come and check the suitability of your farm.
• Design the layout: we design the layout of drip irrigation as per the crop you choose to do. Layout design should take in the crop spacing and farm size as consideration for the bed size and spacing.

Second Step: Site or Farm Preparation

• Clearing the land : Make your farm ready for the installation of driplines. Get rid of rocks, vegetation, and sticks.
• Cultivation: Cultivate the land and loosen the soil to ease bed-making.
• Bed Preparation: Make raised or blocks depending on your farm size. Beds improve irrigation uniformity and make it easier to control irrigation.  for most drip irrigated crops beds measure 1m wide by 100m long.
• Make trenches for Pipework: Dig trenches 1 ft deep for laying the mainline pipes.  Underground installation of mainline pipes ensures durability and efficiency.

Third Step: Connection of Mainline HDPE Pipe

• Lay the mainline pipe: lay and connect the mainline pipes inside the trench along the end of the farm.
• Connect the mainline pipes: Use appropriate couplings to connect HDPE pipes on the mainline.
• Connect water filters and pressure regulator: use threaded adapter fitting to connect water filter and pressure regulator to the mainline connection.

Fourth Step: Hydrant Connection

• Make hydrants: Prepare hydrants (sections to control irrigation) using pipes, elbow connectors, and ball corks.
• Hydrant to Mainline: Connect the Hydrant to mainline Pipes.

Fifth Step: Sub-mainline connection

• Connect the Hydrant to the Sub-mainline: connect the hydrant to the sub-mainline pipes.
• Connect End Caps : use end caps to seal the ends of HDPE sub mainline pipes.

Sixth Step: Risers connection

• Measurement: Measure and drill holes to connect risers on the sub-mainline pipes as per the crop spacing.
• Saddle Clamp Connection: Use a saddle clamp to facilitate the connection of sub sub-mainline to the mainline.
• Connection of Risers: connect risers to sub-mainline pipe using a reducer coupling

Sixth Step: Installing Driplines

• Lay driplines on the Beds: beds take 2-4 driplines depending on the crops.
• Connect driplines to risers : Use start connector to join risers to the dripline
• Attach end Plugs: on the ends of driplines attach end plugs.

Last Step: Completion and launching

• Testing the connection : Open the water connection to test if the system works.
• Bury the mainline and sub mainline Pipes: to secure them onto the ground.
