Specifications

Our valve socket fittings are PVC materials.
Available in: 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 75 mm, 90 mm

Components of A valve Socket Fitting

A valve socket typically consists of two main parts:

Socket

The Socket is the female part of the fitting that receives the male end of the valve. It has inner threads which match the outer threads of the valve.

Male Threaded end

The threaded portion of the valve that inserts into the socket. It has external threads that match the internal threads of the socket allowing for a tight connection.

It may also consist of some additional features such as a handle or lever for valve operation.

Connecting Valves to Pipes Using valve Sockets

  1.  Insert the end of the valve with threads into the socket.
  2.  Rotate the handle of the valve while pressing it to ensure it fits into the threaded inner part of the socket.
  3. Tighten the thread connection to ensure proper alignment and seal with the pipe.

Advantages of valve sockets

Threads are important in valve socket or any other pipe fittings because they allow for easier opening and closing of pipe connections.

Similarly, repair and maintenance in case of a broken pipe is easier and cheap because only the damaged parts will be fixed without having to disconnect the whole system. Therefore, valve socket connection saves a lot of resources such as money, time, water and labour.

Choice of Valve Sockets

When selecting valve sockets, always consider the pipes sizes, pressure and requirements of the irrigation or pipe system. Valve Specifications should always match the requirements of an irrigation system to ensure a convenient pipe connection and regulation of water flow.

We have affordable and quality valve sockets that meet the needs of our clients.
